Amgram at Seawork Asia- the Shanghai experience.
Specialist consultants and naval architects to the commercial maritime workboat sector, Amgram, exhibited at Seawork Asia in November 2014. The show was held in the Expo centre in the fast moving and international city of Shanghai.
Amgram Ltd is an established marine design and consultancy company and is now carrying out increasing amounts of work providing technical support to customers during the workboat procurement phase.
Operating worldwide for the last 27 years from the UK, Amgram has now opened a representative office in Bangkok to better develop markets and serve customers in the Middle and Far East. The new office is run by Justin Stanley and was opened last year, so signing up for Seawork Asia 2014 was a logical move.
Although Seawork Asia is only in its first year, the Amgram team found the show interesting and that it served as a valuable introduction point to a number of Chinese builders and operators.
Amgram’s Managing Director, Paul Graville, also spoke at the conference session at Seawork Asia, talking about trends in workboat and patrol boat design, discussing the changes that have happened and speculating on those that are to come, together with talking about smart ways to procure craft in what is a constantly developing market. The conference session was very organised, with simultaneous translation facilities, so well attended and you can download a copy of Pauls speech here
Amgram will be exhibiting at the Seawork International 2016 exhibition in the UK as they have done for every single Seawork show. Dates for your diary are 14-16th June 2016- we hope to see you there.
